Terminal report cards
From each teacher's scores to a printed report card for every student, without a spreadsheet.
How the term closes
Everyone does their part; the scores come together by themselves.
Prepare
The School Administrator picks the class and the term: every subject of the class gets an assessment with a line per student.
Score and submit
Each teacher enters their subject's class score and exams score, or loads the exams score from a scanned exam, then submits.
Complete
The class teacher adds attendance, conduct and attitude. Remarks come from the student's average, and can be typed instead.
Publish
Once every subject is submitted, one click locks the scores and saves each student's report card, ready to print.
How the scores are worked out
| Score | How it is worked out |
|---|---|
| Class score (50) | APT (10) + CW (10) + MA (10) + PW (20) |
| Exams (50) | The exams score, out of 100, counts for half |
| Total (100) | Class score + exams, with the grade and remarks of your grade scale |
| Position in subject | Rank by total; equal totals share the position |
| Position in class | Rank by the overall score (the sum of the subject totals) |
| Best 6 | The 4 best core subjects and the 2 best other subjects |
| Aggregate | The sum of the 6 best grades |
| Remarks | The class teacher's and headteacher's remarks for the student's average |
