How it works

From registration to the first marked class, step by step.

Register your school

Enter the school's name and your details on the sign-up page. You become the School Administrator and are logged in at once.

Set up the school

Add your subjects and the current term, create your classes, and add your students, or import them from a spreadsheet. Add your teacher and assign them to their classes.

Create an exam and its answer key

Choose the class, subject, number of questions and options, marks per question and pass mark. Type the answer key, or scan a sheet you shaded yourself.

Print and hand out the sheets

Print the answer sheets, two per A4 page, and cut each page in half. Students shade one bubble per question with a pencil or pen.

Scan, review, confirm

Pick the student, hold the sheet flat in the camera frame with its four black squares visible, check the answers and confirm. Move on to the next student with one click.

Share the results

Open the dashboard for the class picture, print result slips and class results, and see which questions need re-teaching.

Close the term with report cards

Prepare the class' terminal report: each teacher fills in and submits their subject, the class teacher adds attendance and conduct, and the School Administrator publishes every report card in one click. How report cards work

Tips for a clean scan

Which phones work?: Any recent phone or laptop webcam with a browser. The live scanner needs the site to be opened over HTTPS; otherwise the phone's own camera app is used.
How should the sheet be photographed?: One sheet at a time, flat and well lit, with the four black corner squares inside the frame. The picture may be tilted or upside down.
What if a student shades two bubbles?: The question is flagged as "Multiple" and scores zero, unless the teacher corrects it during the review.
Can a sheet be scanned again?: Yes: a new scan of the same student replaces the earlier result.
